    What I said was: HELLO THERE. IF YOU CAN READ THIS, EITHER YOU'VE SPENT A LIFE TIME "SPEAKING" IN MORSE CODE AND YOU'VE TAKEN THE TIME TO DECODE THIS WHOLE THING. OR, PERHAPS LIKE ME, YOU'VE FOUND A MORSE CODE TRANSLATER ONLINE, AND PUT IT TO GOOD USE. THERE WAS A TIME I SPOKE A LITTLE MORSE CODE, BUT CERTAINLY NOT WELL ENOUGH TO CREATE SOMETHING AS LONG AND USELESS AS THIS BLOG POST. STILL, I THOUGHT IT MIGHT BE SILLY ENOUGH TO BE FOUND ENJOYABLE BY SOME. HAPPY MONDAY, ALL.

  5. The only Morse I ever learned was S.O.S., but I was never sure which was the dots and which was the dashes, but I figured if I just kept repeating them back to back I'd get the idea across

    ... --- ... --- ... --- ... --- , etc.

  6. I had a roomie in USAF tech school who was training to be a morse intercept operator. We used to joke that he'd transcribe the wind in the venetian blinds in his sleep. (You hadda be there.)
